I’ve done an experiment for my coursework on heartbeat before, during and after excersise and I’ve explained in the intro that the heart speeds up to pump more oxygenated blood to make ATP….but it got me thinking. Why does it take so long to slow down? I think this information would help me understand the heart better and also get me a better grade! Please help!
